Two days in a row? Don’t expect this to happen often but something has come up that reminded me of how anger has a ripple effect. Continue reading
I am sorry for being so absent over the past few months. I took some time off to re-evaluate some things and figure out where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do (with school, this blog, life, etc). Now that I finally think I have it all summed up, I am going to do a little summary of all of the things I loved in the year 2015. I hope everyone had a fabulous New Year’s Eve and is ready for an even more fantastic 2016!
I am a huge fan of watching TED Talks. For those of you who don’t know, TED is a set of conferences that occur worldwide where short, inspiring talks occur. Because I love these talks so much, I thought I would compile a list of some of my favorite talks for you to enjoy (and probably get hooked on and then get lost in a sea of TED Talks on Youtube… don’t say I didn’t warn you).
I am blessed that I have what I consider to be one of the greatest jobs ever. I am responsible for two amazing girls whom I learn from every day. Recently, I took them to a park so that they had something to do outside of their house and I picked up on something through my observations of their play.

I live by quotes. I can usually find a quote to fit every kind of situation. For some reason, I find quotes to not only be inspirational, but to be grounding. So while sipping on my coffee this morning, pondering what to write about, it hit me: COFFEE! Up until recently (I would say about 18) I did not like coffee in the least. Let’s just say that now I am a full blown coffee addict. So I thought I would post about my favorite coffee drinks from a few major chains and maybe in return I will get some suggestions for new drinks/locations to try out!
Well, it is Tuesday, March 17th and I am finally finding the time to sit down and write all about my crazy weekend competing from 6 titles in the Miss America Organization.
Unfortunately, I did not win any of them, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t have a spectacular weekend.
